A Good Idea is a Good Idea…

…regardless of where it came from, but I swear, a certain dashingly handsome, stunningly well-endowed ex-professor you all know has been saying exactly this for some time now, here and in the comments at Z Man’s.

If Monster Tech can aggressively de-platform businesses and individuals for expressing forbidden opinions, then maybe it’s time for skilled tradesmen to respond in kind against the woke left….It shouldn’t have to come to this, but we’re already seemingly here. In addition to the de-platformings by tech companies, some banks are refusing service to gun shop owners, retailers are banishing products from My Pillow, etc. If we can only buy products and services from those within our political tribe, leftists are really going to hate the new rules when they’re in critical need of a skilled tradesman.

I mean, on the one hand, this is obvious. On the other hand… I’m blushing. Do I have a secret admirer among the blogging big leagues?

I wish I had heard of this sooner. I’m going to have to think of guerrilla fighting tactics to use against the lawfare of the left.

I work almost solely for academics. If I refused to work for Leftists, I’d have to retire. Which I am seriously thinking about doing in January 2022.

Don’t be modest…it’s a GREAT idea! We all can give them a poke in the eye in some way. I have pulled my regular business from websites that have no white people on them to those who do. I do tell them why. Banks in SC would lose most of their customers if they tried that gun crap here. It might work in Portland or Seattle. I know a bank trustee who packs heat and she’s also state shooting champion. I also do not make donations to organizations that have missions I don’t agree with. And above all, no donations to universities.

This idea must be sneaky to work, if it can be made to work at all. Out and out ‘we don’t serve your kind’ of stuff is getting your shop burned down.

Not sure sort of fixing the car, after a long wait for parts, or sort of building the house or fixing the heating works. The subtle approach relies on the victims to figure out what’s going on, and so is doomed. Instead, they will slip towards a modern Cuba lifestyle, bringing us all with them, all the while blaming someone else.

Think Mafia style — they know, but they don’t know. Definitely don’t formalize it — it’d be lovely to issue “terms of service” like Facebook et al do, but you know that would be illegal (it’s always illegal when conservatives do it, but legal when Leftists do it).

What you have to do is slow-walk it. Oh, sure, I can fix your car. The problem is your external combobulator, and they just issued some new EPA regulations on those. I’ll probably have a new one in stock in three months… maybe. Who knows? And by then the regulations might well have changed. Tough to say, you know how it is…

Same way with plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, etc. It’s illegal to deny anyone service, and I would never, ever suggest that anyone do that. But it’s certainly not illegal to be too busy to come out… Oh, gosh, your house is flooding from that burst pipe. Love to help you, buddy, but I’m booked solid until November. Have you tried checking your privilege?

      And so forth.

If nothing else, don’t think of it as actually teaching them a lesson. If they were capable of linking behavior and consequences, they wouldn’t be Liberals. They CAN’T learn. Instead, think of it as revenge…. sweet, sweet REVENGE. Suffer, motherfucker. Suffer!

Offering counterpoint to yard signs can be fun. Use a post-it or attach a piece of paper with a push pin. Although I suppose that’s technically vandalism. But don’t steal or graffiti the sign.

Examples for those sanctimonious In This House signs:

Love is love? What about NAMBLA? They’re about love, right? It’s right in their name!

We would never even think All Lives Matter. That would be so awful and racist.

Caution! There might be a white supremacist hiding in the garage.

And for a BLM sign with a fist:

Nothing evokes racial healing and harmony quite like a raised fist.

I’m sure y’all can come up with good ones on your own.

My favorite for those “Hate Has No Home Here” signs is “…and neither do Black people.”

Gotta be careful doing this — which, of course, you absolutely should NOT — because lots of people have home camera systems now. Be sure to wear your COVID mask! I mean, don’t do that. DON’T wear your COVID mask, because all of this is so wrong, wrong, wrong.
