Brief Updates

As I figured it would be, the hardest part of “device limitation” is my books. I’m tempted to whip out the phone or tablet to read a book… which would be fine, but then, being the kind of person I am, I can’t resist checking the news, reading email, etc. So I have to keep the devices off. We’ll see how it goes.

Via David Thompson, a handy chart. I’d make some crack about “replace ‘White’ with ‘Jew’ and you’ve got the Nuremberg Laws,” but we all know that for this crowd, the Nuremberg Laws were a mere set of suggestions that didn’t go nearly far enough. But I’m not overly worried, since I guarantee you this chart’s author is a) White xzhyrself, and b) only got into this stuff because xzhey had no marketable skills or competence of any kind, and c) is going to be counting on LaQueefa and Shitavious to enforce it, so… you know.

Still, kinda interesting. As Thompson asked, which kind of monster are you, dear reader?

Exactly. Why does #1 start so far into prog territory? Is it because #1 has “the worst label know to man” (I’m not using prog terms, sorry) and it needs an appropriate erudite description, or because they (see, there I go again) can’t even conceive of someone being a #1, nevermind a -8? Absolutely mindblowing they can’t believe I’d like to live with folks with a similar heritage, culture and moral structure.

I doubt it’s even really “political” for most of them. They’re just bugmen.

In Russian, I’m told, the word nekulturny — uncultured — is a serious insult. That doesn’t mean you spend all your free time discussing “The Critique of Pure Reason” over games of chess (as Derb memorably put it regarding something or other), but to be kulturny means you have pride in your people and their achievements — maybe you don’t listen to opera all the time, but the idea that rap is somehow in the same cultural universe as opera never enters your head.

Bugmen are the exact opposite of that. They are terrified of being thought kulturny. For them, the only things that are important — the only things that are real — are whatever the goofy jackasses on Twitter are braying about today. Nekulturny would be the highest compliment to them.

So, yeah, the idea that one would choose to associate with others of similar heritage and culture is literally unbelievable to them.

Which is exactly why they hate Russia and Russians (as opposed to their love for the artificial polity of the Soviet Union and the Soviet “citizens”) when Russia became Russian again.

It also explains their white hot hatred for this country as founded, so explicitly stated by John Jay in 1787-
“ With equal pleasure I have as often taken notice that Providence has been pleased to give this one connected country to one united people–a people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in their manners and customs, and who, by their joint counsels, arms, and efforts, fighting side by side throughout a long and bloody war, have nobly established general liberty and independence.”

Golly, I may have worked my way up to the top this past year. It’s rather eyeopening. Back when it was a real news service, I took a BBC quiz called Are You A Cynic? and found I ranked in the “art form” category. It’s important to be the best at whatever you do…isn’t it?

There has to be some sort of marketing opportunity here – a t-shirt or cap with a simple ONE or 1 on it. White on black of course. Who could criticise? If asked you just say your wife or husband gave it to you.

I don’t like to link other sites on another man’s site. But I’ve wanted to rebel against the dictum to stay off the internet. Which I disagree with since the world and our enemies ARE the internet. The order to disconnect is like saying, “pay no mind to the enemie’s doings”. So, in that spirit, here’s a great essay on Marcuse via the nutcase site Zero Hedge. It helped to clarify my vague intuitions, in a way that Sev’s Marx posts often did.

To be specific, on one major point it made– that hadn’t dawned on my barely sentient brain…is the strategy that guys like Marcuse tried to lead the American Prog to some 60 years ago…is that the Left’s “passion” for helping the working class, was actually not in the Prog interest.
