Dear Readers (all 14 of you),

As we were getting inundated with comment spam, I turned the “discussion” section to “users must be registered and logged in to comment.”

As this was how we’d decided to roll in the first place — and I am the doofus who changed the setting when performing one of WordPress’s patented “blow everything up and start over from scratch” “updates — I take full responsibility for any inconvenience.  Sorry about that.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

The Artist Formerly Known As Whatever My Old Username Was, Which I Can’t Seem To Remember, And The Usual Passwords Don’t Work Either

Yeah, sorry about that. It’s a pain in the ass, I know. But having screwed up the comments way back when, the least I can do now is set it back to the original settings, while cutting down on the (truly, epically ridiculous, especially considering we have 14 readers) amount of spam in the filter.

It’s not your fault I can’t remember what my username was from 15 years ago. Or is it?

So…I’m not exactly sure WHAT happened, but I had to complete a completely new account in WordPress because I apparently don’t exist. I mean…my forum posting accounts have always been…dubious…in nature for protection, but I remember them all, and my regular passwords wouldn’t work. When I did the ol’ “remember password” I got the “no such email exists” from WordPress. So I reregistered with the exact same info. Anyway, ’twas weird.

Again, *really* sorry. But don’t worry – it’s not like that’s Big Brother putting you in the Official Thoughtcriminal Database or anything…. 🙂

I got two does in the freezer and have another week and a half of flintlock hunting, so it’s been a good Christmas so far.

    Merry Christmas, you magnificent bastards.

No problem. Though I had issues getting a account on WordPress to work.

    Happy New Year.

Yeah, WordPress sucks. It’s only temporary, anyway — I hear WordPress is next up in the Great Purge of Internet Badthink, and since we’re a DoD-certified Hate Site anyway, I’m sure we’ll be deplatformed.

I’m looking forward to finally meeting some of y’all in person, in the reeducation camp….
