Read ’em and weep, y’all. This is what many a low-info voter thinks when he sees Trump soundbites.
Some highlights:
Trump just reframed the misogyny accusation against him as a judgment on MegYn Kelly’s emotional instability. In verbal form, he titty-twisted her and then cracked some walnuts on her quivering manjaw.
Yup. Y’all know there IS a war on women, right? No, it’s not the stupid crap pushed by the PC Police. It’s this: Most Americans, far from thinking women have too little power, are convinced they have way too much. Our society, they claim — and, honestly, it’s hard to argue with them — is feminized to the core. Planned Parenthood, Obamacare, the whole of our vast entitlement state, the Patriot Act… these are not male preoccupations. Chicks and their endless quest for total security and no moar badfeelz evar brought us here. The natural consequence of this, of course, is widespread, latent misogyny… which Trump is now making public.
[Trump] aims at his enemies’ greatest weakness– their stature. Will is ‘dour’– Krauthammer has an agenda. Megyn Kelly is a lightweight. Chris Wallace is a pale imitation of his father. Deadly stuff that destroys the credibility of these people is a way they’ve never before encountered. What he says about Luntz is both believable and devastating– he destroys the man and his whole pathetic business model. He’s ripped down the facade in a way Gingrich only experimented with in 2012.
Instead of a “re-frame” — the PUA term d’art — we should call this what it really is: a vicious ad hominem attack. Also known as “outgrouping” or “point-and-shriek,” it’s the bunnies’ one rhetorical trick, and Trump uses it to devastating effect. But notice what’s missing here: Any discussion of the questions themselves. Megyn Kelly might have had a point (or she might not). Either way, point-and-shriek is designed to take the focus off the issue and onto the speaker. Why do you think the left uses it exclusively? One can avoid taking a stand on anything if one constantly turns any question into an attack on the questioner.
The guy has done it. He walked right through the War on Women canard. I am ashamed I doubted him. And not only that he took off on the losers by calling them “deviant(s)” which is the perfect description for the Cultural Left. They are sexually and morally and intellectually deviant: tearing down the family, the Churches and the culture
As I’ve said many times, there is enormous power in saying what everybody knows. If Trump’s not your thing, consider the Lenny Bruce school of comedy. You know people who say “have a good day” at the grocery store don’t really care if you have a good day, right? Just like when someone asks you “how’s it going?” they don’t really want to hear your life story? Oh, the hypocrisy!! String a few “jokes” together about those suburban two-faces, lace in plenty of profanity, and you can have yourself a nice little career on the club circuit. (That what these folks call hypocrisy is actually politeness, aka the glue that holds civil society together, is meaningless to the Lenny Bruces of the world, because they’re malignant narcissists; they don’t care about society). The Left are deviants. And what do we do with deviants…..?
Well, that part is never discussed, but doesn’t it feel good to call a spade a spade for once?
And THIS! “We will catch you at another time soon.” Is one of the great English sentences. It is a promise to his friends and an ominous warning to his enemies. It also breaks out of the stagnant grammar of the elite and cuts right to the motherfucking chase.
I think that might be the most refreshing thing about Trump: he is ok with enemy/foe relationships.
Ahhh, the joys of hate. Again, consider the Left. Hate is the sole appeal of leftism, from Henry Hazlitt’s devastating verdict on Marx to the feminist “smashing patriarchy.” The whole curriculum of any Studies department is nothing but hating on white-straight-male. Notice, again, that the consequences are never spelled out. What happens when you catch them another time soon? The Left actually has an answer to this question, you know. We’d do well to think on it.
But in the meantime, doesn’t it feel great to hate? Finally somebody is standing up to these motherfuckers. Trump’s core message is: by God, we’ve been losing all these years to this? This
has been telling you what you can read, watch, eat, drink, say, and think for the last twenty years. This
Are we gonna stand for that, my fellow Americans?

Meanwhile… what are Trump’s policies? Do we know? Does he even have a policy team? You can find Bush’s economic policy guy, or Walker’s foreign relations adviser, with a little digging. Trump appears to be completely winging it. I’ve never heard a substantive proposal out of the guy.
And yet, if the election were held today, there’s a pretty good chance he’d be the goddamn President of the United States of America.
This has been a public service announcement.
